UNDERGRADUATE REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM is a comprehensive, fundamental training and development program that presents an overview of day-to-day real estate activities, contracts, company programs and policies. New agents learn systematic and successful listing and selling techniques.
MENTOR PROGRAM is the next step in the process, providing an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in the Undergraduate Program by allowing the new sales associate to observe (shadow) a successful, experienced agent in various business activities. Mentoring helps the new agent develop skills, techniques and business behaviors that will facilitate the development of productive sales professionals quickly.
MASTER REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM, providing Northwood sales associates with a high quality educational experience to help them enhance their business development skills, with the ultimate goal to improve our agents’ performance so that they may achieve greater productivity and reach their maximum earning potential. Classes are normally held monthly in the individual branch offices, and are approximately two hours in length.
THE COACHING PROGRAM is for the new agent as well as the seasoned agent. It is the sales associate’s “tool to success”. The program has been designed to teach and guide agents in goal setting, creating a Primary Market (Farming), establishing and reaching their financial goals and creating successful marketing plans. The agents are personally coached, one on one, and their coach shares creative ideas, proven success strategies and tactics imperative for the agent’s success.
TECH TRAINERS The Tech Trainer program is unique to our industry. We have tech savvy trainers in each of our offices at least once a week working with our agents and staff, to further their technology skills, and at no cost to them. They help our agents learn and use our many great programs with both one on one “hands on”, and in small group sessions.
OTHER PROGRAMS WE OFFER DURING THE YEAR include our Boot Camp, MAP (Managers Apprentice Program) for those interested in Management, and regional training programs relating to risk reduction, legal liabilities, home staging, agent panels, technology and more.Customized Orientation for Real Estate (CORE) is the only real estate training and mentoring program of its kind in the country. It allows new agents just entering the industry to select the commitment level that suites them best. CORE offers four personalized onboarding paths that match each agent’s service and time commitment to equal levels of resources, real-world experiences and hands-on coaching. The CORE program truly differentiates Northwood as an "agents agency." One that trains, nurtures and mentors agents at every stage of their career.
